I need a unique birthday party idea for a super girly girl movie buff. She is 16. What should we do?
I wanted to do something unique. But I can't think. She loves movies.
The 80s party is a good idea. Another one is classic movies, like Some Like it Hot with Marilyn Monroe or Breakfast at Tiffany's with Audrey Hepburn. Serve sparkling pink lemonade (you can probably google a recipe for it) in champagne glasses, since Champagne was Marilyn Monroe's favorite drink but you're too young for it. Make a big fat pink cake, strawberry flavored with strawberry frosting, even if it's from a mix, and decorate it with pink sprinkles and pink candles! Everyone can wear sunglasses like movie stars, and serve movie treats, like boxes of movie candy, and popcorn. Buy some eclairs (you can find them in the frozen foods section of the grocery store) and defrost for awhile before serving them. Hang pink streamers and pink balloons, throw in an accent color like white, green, silver, gold, or black. For a gift, you can buy her the Breakfast at Tiffany's sleep mask from Fred Flare.com, or if you want to buy from a store, get her a copy of a movie she likes or some movie theater tickets. If you can find some movie posters, hang those up! It will be so awesome and cool!
