Black dots on used baby wipes. Parasites!?
We use cloth wipes. I noticed while I was rinsing one today that there were some dots of what I thought was poop that weren't coming off. This has never happened before. They are TINY black dots, maybe 7 of them. Should I freak out? Does my girl have some kind of worm? I've read the description for pinworms and they don't fit the description at all...
I keep the wipes in a dry, folded stack until I need to use one, then spray it and wipe the baby. I rinse them (generally right away) and hang them to dry. When they are DRY, put them in the dry diaper pail and everything gets laundered with hot water once a week.
How old is your baby? Is baby old enough for solid food? I doubt your baby has any kind of parasite. It was probably something she/he ate. If your really worried I would talk to you doctor. If you see it again save the diaper and take it to the doctor.
