Should I nix the balloons for my sister in law's bridal shower?
The temperature is supposed to be in the 100's. I was going to put a balloon bouquet on the doorstep to help guide people to the right house, but won't they pop? I think no balloons probably look better than balloon carcasses.
LoL, true... Maybe you could try something else that's fun, like some streamers, attemt a few balloons(no helium) and see how they do. You could even find a nice piece of wood and paint it all frilly with the date and occasion and then later have everybody sign it with a nice message of "congratz" or "best wishes". You could even get some pictures of the shower and seal them in. It wold be a nice keepsake of the day.
Not trying to step on anybody's toes, but Mylar balloons will deflate in extreme heat/cold. I've worked in a place that has sold them and have experienced it myself.
